The Greek culture is easily one of the most historical cultures and civilizations that the world has ever known. From the culture, the food, and historical buildings, the Greeks invented numerous things that we currently use today and continue to build on as the Greek culture continues to strive throughout the world, outside of Greece. It seems fitting that Disney and Downtown Disney will be celebrating the Opa! A Celebration of Greece throughout the theme park and Downtown Disney from May 25-27 in Anaheim. May Shopping Events at Downtown Disney in Anaheim
The month of May brings out a wild number of shopping and merchandise events at Downtown Disney, and they have a vast number of different options available to the shopper at Downtown Disney. From a simple doll launch to even more, the Downtown Disney area will be rocking with merchandise and shopping events during the month of May 2013. Starting on May 3-5, the Precious Moments doll inspired by The Little Mermaid, and will be debuted at the World of Disney store in the Downtown Disney District. Linda Rick the doll maker will be making an appearance from noon to 10pm. As the Hollywood box office builds up steam in 2013, the month of May brings several blockbusters to the box office, and they will be shown in all their glory at the AMC Theaters in the Downtown Disney District. The state of the art cinema, stadium seating, and awesome movie theatre experience that the AMC Theater brings you, will give the movie enthusiast a great time in May.
